Licensing and compliance
Are the resources editable?
Yes. Everything is supplied in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint so you can add your logo, contextualise scenarios for your learners and load content into your LMS. Mapping documents are supplied in Word and Excel.
Is there a per-student fee?
No. A single licence fee per unit covers unlimited students under one RTO registration, across every campus and delivery mode, for as long as the unit remains current.
What happens when training.gov.au updates a unit or qualification?
We monitor the National Register and update affected resources. Updates are released through your account at no charge, and we email your nominated contact with a change summary so you can manage transition.
Can we see a full unit before buying?
Yes. Request a sample and we will send a complete unit, including the learner guide, student assessment booklet, marking guide and mapping, so your compliance team can review it properly.
Do you guarantee the resources will pass an ASQA audit?
No. Audit outcomes depend on your whole assessment system, including how the tools are used, so no supplier can guarantee them. If an unaltered VET Scholar tool is found non-compliant, we rectify it at no cost and help with your response. See our compliance approach.
Delivery and services
How are the resources delivered?
As downloads from your online account immediately after payment is confirmed. You can re-download the latest version at any time and we email your nominated contact when an update is released.
Can we load the content into our LMS?
Yes. The licence allows distribution to your learners through your LMS, by email or in print. SCORM eLearning versions are available for selected units.
Can we share resources with a partner RTO or third-party provider?
Only where that provider is named in your licence agreement and delivers under your RTO registration. Any other RTO needs its own licence.
Do you provide a Training and Assessment Strategy?
A pre-populated TAS framework is included with every qualification bundle and available as an add-on for single units. It must be completed and contextualised by your RTO.
Do you develop units you don't currently list?
Yes. We develop CHC electives and imported units on request. Licensees receive development at a reduced rate and the resulting unit is added to our catalogue.
Do you offer RPL kits?
Yes. An RPL kit with self-assessment, evidence matrix, competency conversation guide and third-party report is available for every unit.
Can you review assessment tools we already use?
Yes. Our assessment review service maps an existing tool to the unit and the Standards and reports gaps and recommended fixes.
